'For Now...'  There are those who complete tasks without difficulty; People who wash their cars, clean their homes, pay their bills, etc.  Most are taught early to take pride in what they do.  They double check it, put a shine on it, even sign it, and most importantly, they finish it! This concept may seem very basic to you, but if you were raised in Mecca Funderburg's household, completing anything is completely foreign.  It is a learned experience. That is, If you get that not completing something is considered failure to most people.

Mecca had a hard life from the onset, dealing with her drug dealer mother, a mentally challenged sister and tons of unfinished business she is satisfied with. She cannot seem to go forward for looking back and becomes comfortable with being stagnant.  The mindset of the everyday people around her is apathy.  No matter how bad it gets, they seem to accept it.  They are all content to live that way...
